Workshop Overview
The first half of the session will highlight the difference between Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Crisis Management Plan (CMP), also highlight the importance and benefits of Crisis Management planning, and provide a thorough overview of crisis characteristics, sources, and impacts. Attendees will learn key elements and success factors of an effective Crisis Management program, the roles and responsibilities of various teams, and essential crisis response strategies and recovery, including dealing with community and stakeholders as well as the importance of crisis communications.
The second half of the session will cover table top and simulation aims to equip attendees’ practical knowledge to respond in an orderly procedures for initial response and stabilization of a situation until the arrival of relevant authorities/responders, especially the key roles of Crisis Management Team (CMT).
